Privacy policy

Last updated

This policy describes what we collect, why, and how to remove it. If anything below is unclear, email hello@seoscrape.com and we will answer in plain language.

What we collect

  • URLs you audit. Stored so we can run the audit, return the report, and re-serve cached results if you reload the report page. Not sold, not shared with third parties.
  • Email address for paid reports. Only collected if you unlock the full report. Used to send the receipt and the PDF. Never used for marketing without explicit opt-in.
  • Payment data.Processed by Paddle (merchant of record). We never see your card. Paddle's policy: paddle.com/legal/privacy.
  • Analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are useful and which break. It only loads after you consent via the cookie banner. Clarity records anonymized session recordings and aggregated heatmaps.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require an account to run the free audit.
  • We do not sell URLs, emails, or audit data.
  • We do not run third-party advertising trackers (no Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag).
  • We do not scrape, store, or republish content from the sites you audit beyond what is required to generate your report.

How we use the data

  • To return your audit and the full report.
  • To improve the product (which checks are useful, which guides get read, which issues users care about — all in aggregate).
  • To send the receipt and PDF for paid reports, and respond to support emails.

Retention

Audit results are stored for 90 days so you can revisit the report URL. After that they are deleted unless you have purchased the full report (in which case the receipt is retained for accounting purposes only). Email addresses are retained as long as you have an active paid report on file, plus the retention period required by tax law.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any data we hold about you (URLs you audited, email address, paid report records) by emailing hello@seoscrape.com. We will action it within 30 days, no questions.

Cookies

Strictly-necessary cookies (session, consent) are set without consent because they are required for the site to function. Analytics cookies (Clarity) only load after you click "Accept" on the banner.

Changes

We will update this page when we change anything material and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is meaningful (new data collected, new processor), we will surface a notice on the site for at least 30 days.
